16/04/08 - The Taxman Wants A Share

It's that time again when the tax return has to be submitted. I was expecting a paper form but this year I received a one page letter encouraging me to submit my return online.

I did this last year and it was a breeze compared to the paper form. I've tapped in my rough figures and it's done all my calculations for me instantly. that's when I discovered the tax man wants a fairly large chunk of my earnings! More
