26/01/09 - Wedding Photos

We're married at last - Mr David Fiske & Mrs Cheryl Fiske! A year in the planning resulted in a very smooth and happy day. Everyone turned up (although the bride was fashionably late) and a great time was had by all.

I promised a few people I'd upload a few photos so I'll combine that with a few thanks. More

12/01/09 - What The VAT Reduction Has Done For Me

The drop from 17.5% to 15% in VAT, in my opinion, has been a complete waste of time.

The reduction was made on 1st December 2008 and since then, I've yet to see prices fall, suggesting that some retailers are now absorbing the extra 2.13% reduction as profit. More

09/01/09 - Electricity Monitors

I changed my electricity plan months ago after discovering that for the same price as I was paying, I could wangle myself a free electricity monitor. it finally arrived today and since I plugged it in (ironic for an energy saving device), I've been glued to the numbers. More

08/01/09 - Happy New Year!

Okay so I'm a little bit out on this but for good reason. January is a pain.

The 3-4 month lead up to Christmas is tiring in itself. The bombardment of emails (mainly voucher code related) as well as the ritual pausing of key affiliate programs for the second year on the trot due to "technical issues" (aka we don't need your help at the moment) takes it's toll.

For most, back to work in January is a miserable time so it's only right affiliates enjoy this same feeling :-D More
