Whilst researching the name of a tune featured in an advert, I stumbled across a site displaying Google AdSense. Nothing bizarre there but what was different was the way in which the ad was displayed. It featured a screenshot of the current Barclaycard rollercoaster advert along with links off to their YouTube page. More
In an attempt to a) relieve boredom, b) increase revenue and c) boost search engine interest, I decided to look at PPC again. The last time I tried my hand at it, I failed somewhat dismally more or less because I didn't know what I know now. Experience certainly wasn't on my side!
I've launched a classy blog type site recently which switched between result 1 and 11 for the site name search. I pitched the idea to some manufacturers and the outcome was that if I wasn't on page 1, how could I help them?
I set up an AdWords campaign 3 days ago to at least get an ad on page 1 and here's the story since. More
Taking a small break from web design on Friday, I coded a PPC Maximum Bid Calculator. There are quite a few newbies out there who consistently ask for advice on calculating the maximum value they should be bidding and this calculator is designed to help. More
If you are a PPC expert, want some free publicity and can spare around an hour a day for 5 days, you might be able to help me.
I can't really explain too much at the moment else it will ruin what I'm trying to achieve. If you match the following criteria, and you want to help, contact me ASAP. More
I've just been browsing a few forums and stumbled across and advert for Get Landing Pages.
As the name suggests, they create landing pages! Nothing really special about that but their portfolio promoted me to post this! More
I was just looking through my archives and remembered I made a post on how Savastore went into administration.
Well there's some PPC activity that is good and some that is just bizarre given the company folded on 7th February 2007 and today is 9th May 2007. More
I thought I had it right this time.
Obviously, it's still not right. More

I have some grievances and qualms about PPC. Perhaps it's beginner's nerves but hopefully someone will be able to either help out here and clarify my problems or can supply links to websites that can help. More
The problem with PPC is that whilst it gives immediate results, it can give immediate cost too.
I ran a campaign a week ago that cost me dearly to the tune of £65. More
I tried my hand at PPC again today.
Instead of being over-cautious as I was last time, I was now over-eager. More
Like a Blue Peter Tracy Island, here's a sticky back plastic version of Pay Per Click. (incidentally, I've got a Blue Peter badge so I am qualified to give out this advice!)
It may not suit everyone but I'd appreciate your thoughts and comments on this. More

I have been dabbling with PPC for a bit now but it has slowed right down.
I have tried a bit of this and that but nothing that earns consistent revenue. More
I made...
...£5! It took £10 worth of ads to make me £15 in commission (£5 profit).
I have avoided promoting sat nav systems and went for something a little more popular with a mass market. I had 2,000 advert views in 2 hours so I found a good market. More
I have now had 18 impressions and a whole entire click!
I am not sure why I'm happy about that as it didn't result in a sale.
But at least the system works! More
I started my campaign last night and have had a whopping 3 ad views.
Something tells me I am not going to get a lot of traffic or sales there!
In my crusade to develop my PPC skills, I have registered with Michael Anthony's Affiliate Marketing School. More
I am very wary of Pay Per Click (PPC) and reluctant to take the jump.
However, I also know that there lies an awful lot of money.
So what is the problem? More
