Another Small Investment Ready For The Next Phase

I have just placed an order with Amazon for two new books.

These books are about SEO and copywriting and so should help with developing Compare Sat Nav dramatically.

The lure of Amazon's email to me earlier that said they had extended their Christmas free delivery for an extra day was more than enough incentive to buy these books!

So what are they?

The first is called Search Engine Optimization: An Hour a Day.

Naturally, as I don't actually have the book yet, I cannot review it. Rest assured though, once I have read it, I will be able to provide you with a more detailed synopsis.

For now, here's Amazon's:
Influence search engine results and bring targeted traffic to your Web site with an hour a day of search engine optimization (SEO). Drawing on years of experience as successful SEO consultants, Jennifer Grappone and Gradiva Couzin provide detailed, practical, and often surprisingly simple techniques for improving results. Their simple strategies include setting SEO goals, site optimization, developing and implementing a strategy that might include both free and paid efforts, and tools for monitoring trends, measuring the competition, and tracking results.
The second book is called Web Copy That Sells: The Revolutionary Formula for Creating Killer Copy Every Time.

Again, here is Amazon's synopsis:
"Web Copy That Sells" presents copy strategies that have been proven time and again in the e-commerce arena. Maria Veloso, perhaps the most widely acclaimed Web copywriter in the world, bases her revolutionary "Million Dollar Blueprint" on five simple questions - the reader answers them and the copy practically writes itself. Veloso crams all the information from her 12-hour, $997 live seminars into an accessible book that helps any Web copywriter.
I am hoping that these titles will complement each other. SEO techniques undoubtedly utilise copywriting skills and so the second book should help with the first. Whilst I can write copy, I need to start pushing more people towards the affiliate sites. People need to be compelled on clicking on a link. Good copy fosters this.
