You are here: Home > Website Revenue Streams > Google AdSense Ads Removed
Saturday, 16 December 2006
I have removed the Google AdSense ads as a trial to see whether that will affect the overall number of sales.
I stress that this is a trial only!
The benefits are that the site designs are now identical and that more people are directed off the static content pages and onto the price comparison feature.
Will I put the ads back on?
I would like to say yes but it depends upon the results of this test.
The ads Google was serving were very well targeted so there is no problem with the quality of ads. There is certainly a large difference in the money being paid out per click though!
I am certainly a fan of Google AdSense and would encourage as many people as possible to create a revenue stream with it. It is very easy to get started and easy to start making money from your traffic.
The trick is ensuring your content is well written. If it is of a poor quality, the ads were be poorly matched.
