Thank you to Adrian who today informed me there was a glitch with Internet Explorer 6.
As I use Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7, I thought all was well when it worked in both.
Obviously not!
But this has a knock on effect.
Compare Sat Nav uses the same navigation structure and code and so it too has problems in Internet Explorer 6.
So what does this mean? Well for anyone who uses Internet Explorer 6 (the majority of visitors), you will not be able to view the glorious menus as intended on Compare Sat Nav.
I will hopefully resolve this by tomorrow but in the meantime, it allows me to reflect upon the navigation and investigate any concrete alternatives.
In case you are wondering, I am using a menu from CSS Play here, under Stu Nicholls non-commercial licence. The original code had to be hacked quite extremely to get the current results.
Finally, if you would like to emulate older versions of Internet Explorer side-by-side, download MultipleIEs. It is a good starting base for ensuring dynamic objects (such as menus) work in various versions of Internet Explorer.
