You are here: Home > Search Engine Optimisation > New Books Have Arrived
Thursday, 21 December 2006
You may remember I said that I had ordered two new books: Search Engine Optimization: An Hour a Day and Web Copy That Sells: The Revolutionary Formula for Creating Killer Copy Every Time.
They have arrived in all their glory!
The purpose of Search Engine Optimization: An Hour a Day is hopefully to develop enhanced SEO skills. I have an understanding of the HTML programming required and have worked on that since day one. Keywords in the <H1> tags and so forth.
However, I am sure there is more to SEO than that and this is what I am hoping the book can teach me!
The second book (Web Copy That Sells: The Revolutionary Formula for Creating Killer Copy Every Time) is designed to help me express myself on Compare Sat Nav in a more profitable manner.
I explained the need to build up a relationship with my visitors rather than sell to them the other day. Well as part of the relationship, I need to help persuade people that they need a sat nav system and they need a particular model.
Hence, I am off to read these books. I don't envisage reading them both today! You never know though...
(It's like being back at University!)
