The new prices were uploaded at 1245hrs today.

Changes have been made to 20 out of 22 retailers - primarily due to the January sales.

The product count has dropped from 414 systems to 408.
 
Last week, Comet increased prices dramatically and as expected, they have slashed their prices by around £50 per unit in this update.

However, there are some terrific sale items available this week.

Retailers who have dropped at least one price by at least £50:

• Argos
• Comet
• ebuyer
• Halfords
• John Lewis
• SatNav2u
• Tesco

Star price drops:

• Garmin Streetpilot C340 - SatNav2u slashed £219.99 off their price!
• LG LAN9600R - Halfords slashed £199.99 off their price!
• Route 66 Chicago 6000 - Halfords slashed £180 off their price!

Blooper:

I also have a humourous screenshot for you. As an eagle eyed spotter (!), I came across one retailer who offered a negative saving in the sales - i.e. it would cost you more to buy it in the January sales! I shall name no names though!



The next price update is scheduled for Tuesday 2nd January 2007.
