A Century of Website Development Lectures

SPECIAL OFFER (and it's free!)
I am in a generous mood and will happily answer some consultancy questions for free. If you have any questions about what you are doing or if you are experiencing any problems with affiliate marketing, contact me and I will do my best to help. You should know that the best questions will be published here - so 5 minutes of fame for your site if you want a link!

Perhaps not 100 years of articles but at least 100 articles!

It is nice to get past the first 100 as it allows reflection upon the past and vision to the future.

So far, the David Fiske project has seen the creation of www.comparesatnav.co.uk and has seen the (rough) logic behind developing a portfolio of sites.

So what does reader land have to look forward to in the next 900 articles (the next milestone is 1,000 lectures)?

Firstly, the portfolio will be set up certainly within the next 900 lectures!

The designs and integration of affiliate adverts will change. I cannot be complacent - people are aware of affiliate ads and do not click on them as often as we all would like.

I have one price comparison site in the portfolio so I will be diversifying from that. After all, I want a portfolio of unique yet complimentary sites. If they are all dull and 'old', they will not be visited.

Similarly, I want to create a network and advertise each site on each other.

As for other ambitions, I would love to prove my project successful and earn a (substantial) income from affiliate marketing. This could perhaps introduce new players into the market.

Whatever happens from here, let's look forward. Looking back is nostalgic and sometimes fun. It is not productive nor progressive.
