David Fiske A subtle blend of affiliate marketing and web development

I have been dabbling with PPC for a bit now but it has slowed right down.

I have tried a bit of this and that but nothing that earns consistent revenue.
 
I have tried advertising an ebook I have written for a niche website. I have only had a couple of clicks on that advert but I lack the search quantity.

I tried and succeeded with selling Microsoft Office 2007 via Amazon though there were ups and downs with that. One day I made £5, the next I lost £5.

I put an advert on there for Microsoft Windows Vista but lost money on that.

I tried with Gifts of Crystal but it seems the world is not ready for that either!

I am probably not giving it enough time but I also know I am not advertising the most profitable products and affiliate programs that I could be.

It would be nice to get a community feeling here so please post your comments abut your own PPC experiences. Am I targeting the wrong programs or do I need to lose money to make it?
