It just goes to show even the big boys get it wrong sometimes.
 


For those unfamiliar with AdWords, {Keyword} is a dynamic tag and replaced the text in your ad with what the user searched for.

So, for example, you could be searching for "affiliate marketing" and the {keyword} tag would display the phrase "affiliate marketing" in your ad. So, instead of an ad with static text like this:

you could create an ad like this in your AdWords account:



that displays this on the search page:



It can save a lot of time in the long run - if you spell the term "keyword" properly. Otherwise, it just looks daft! It may be difficult to grasp the real power of this when you run a handful of campaigns. But if you run thousands of ads, this simple tool can increase productivity.
