I've Signed Up To The Digital Point Forum

I'm trying to break away from A4U Forum (incidentally, a new version should be live this afternoon) and have registered over at Digital Point.

It's a bit more restrictive than A4U, what with infractions, etc. Hopefully A4U won't go that way. We'll see!

I've read a fair bit about trading names and websites over the past few days so I'm looking into it a bit more.

I'm thinking of trying my hand with something like template design or website sales.

It's coming to that time where I need to go back to AdWords and crack that mystery. And to do that properly, I need to have a reserve of cash. This time I'm looking to build up a reserve of a couple of thousand pounds to then spend on AdWords.

Whilst the affiliate sites I'm running are generating revenue, it's still not liveable so it would be daft not to try anything I could think of.

If you have any suggestions on where you would like to see this project going, please post your thoughts below.

I've come the other way from Digital Point to A4U and I have to say it's a breath of fresh air. I've been at DP for years now, and it had one of the worst signal-to-noise ratios on the web - there are so many bad posts there it's untrue.

That said, it's also a great place to get info and inside tips - when you can find them. Just watch for the hype and realise that 90% of what get's posted is nonsense. :D

Adwords is a very competitive game to get into but you seem like a smart guy so no worries there

HAve you considered other PPC providers like goclicks and yahoo?

@Ami - I'm rubbish at AdWords. I don't like paying for traffic on the off chance that some of it will convert.

I suppose if I took the time and patience, I could get somewhere with it. I would like to do it one day but I'm content with SEO at the moment (though the potential speed of income is vastly improved with PPC so as my wedding approaches, I may have no other option!!!)

AdWords would be my first port of call. Once I cracked that, I would move onto the other providers such as Yahoo and Microsoft. I must admit I've never heard of GoClicks though.
