AdSense Just Got Better

Google AdSense just got better!

They've introduced more referral products and rounded adverts!
 
You can read all about the rounded adverts on Inside AdSense. The rounded corners certainly look nice and set AdSense apart from similar programs.

As for referrals, the last time I looked, I could promote:

  • AdSense
  • AdWords
  • Firefox with Google toolbar
  • Google pack
On top of those, I can now promote:
  • Google checkout
  • Google Apps
It shouldn't be long before us Brits can see Referrals 2.0 too, which looks to be another welcomed improvement.

I've been playing around with some of the rounded adsense ads this evening - They look well cool. Really makes them stand out, and should IMO increase CTR and CPM.

I see no real advantage of AdSense's referrals program. It completely depends on the topic of your web site. And, naturally, it also depends on your traffic.

I tried it, I had only a few clicks and no convesrion. It was time to return back to CPC ads :) .
