Playing With Google Maps

With a little help from Mike Williams' website and a lot of code hacking, I have customised the Hotel Room UK map of hotels to this:

What I've done is create a sidebar div that lists all the hotels on the map, which when clicked bring up a popup box on the map with a link to the hotel page.

I've also added custom icons with the hotel chain's logo to the map to replace the standard red marker.

Let me know what you think about it and any improvements you would like to see introduced.
