1&1 Internet are offering what must be one of the best offers ever - free UK domain names!
 
Domain names ending in .co.uk, .org.uk and .me.uk are free for the first year to both new and existing customers, then £2.99 ex VAT in the second year.

1&1 Internet telephone support seem to be unsure as to what the price will be in the third year - some pages say it'll be £2.99 (which is uncompetitive) whereas other pages say it'll be £1.99.

Either way, £2.99 for 2 years of .co.uk, .org.uk or .me.uk is a great offer by anyone's standard.

123-Reg are offering a pretty good deal too. Buy a .com, .org or .net for 2 years and get a free .co.uk domain.

Remember it may be worth switching hosts or domain name registrars every couple of years as prices change. Mind you, 1&1 Internet have been the cheapest domain name registrar for UK domains I've found. Anyone know of any others that are cheaper than £1.99-£2.99 a year ex VAT?
