Spammed By Myself!

A spammer is using one of my email addresses to send spam from a "Hayley Price". In the last 5 minutes, I've had around 450 returned emails. Worst thing is I use this email address for some important work so it's not just a case of closing down the account.

How do I get it to stop?!

I've set up message rules in Outlook Express as they all have the same return email address. They all get diverted straight to my deleted folder but that doesn't stop that fact that someone is spamming using one of my domain names.

I did think of setting up an autoresponder but there's no point in that as it would be sent to the dud email boxes (all the emails I'm getting are "no mailbox exists" errors).

Any help welcomed.

PS) Another 100 have arrived whilst typing this. :(

I don't know what you did, but I guess there is nothing much you can do in this situation except grit your teeth and bear it.

4 days and around 10,000 undelivered spam messages later and it has stopped (touch wood). The worst thing is that if you are caught in a situation like this, you are powerless to stop it. Nobody cares or wants to care which doesn't seem right to me!
