Jumping On The BlogRush Bandwagon

BlogRush is a traffic generation website, similar in principle to Bumpzee but with a wider focus.

Anyway, all the big boys have added a widget (ShoeMoney, Kieron, John Chow, Dosh Dosh and Andy Beal) and I felt suitably left out :-( so I have gone and signed up.

The principle is simple. Simply add the widget and that's it from your end.

Everytime your page gets loaded, your widget populates with 5 new related articles. Each page view earns you the right to having one of your own blog articles displayed on a widget somewhere around the globe.

The more page views you have, the more exposure you receive. ShoeMoney, for example, states he should get 45,000 impressions per day on the BlogRush network based on his current traffic levels.

BlogRush also has a two tier refferral program built in. Here's how this works.

Tim visits my site. I get a hypothetical 1,000 page views a day (so 1,000 impressions on the BlogRush network). Tim signs up using my referral link. Tim gets 100 page impressions a day. So, because I referred Tim, I now get my 1,000 impressions plus Tim's 100 impressions equalling 1,100 impressions.

But because it is ten tiered, when someone signs up using Tim's referral link, I would get that credit too. So, for instance if Judy signs up using Tim's link and she gets 10,000 page impressions, I would get mine plus Tim's plus Judy's impressions so for my 1,000 page views, I would get (1,000+100+10,000) 11,100 impressions on the BlogRush network! This carries on down through 10 levels.

There's a video on YouTube that explains more about the service:

Matt Houldsworth Earning From Affiliates

I am still yet to be convinced, I installed BlogRush last week and it is not really making any difference at all. I am going to give it a couple of weeks to se how it goes.
