Fastest Delivery I've Ever Seen!

I placed an order with Find Me a Gift yesterday at 3:30pm yesterday. I received an email from them at 3:45pm saying it had been despatched. I've used Google Checkout as a merchant so I know that you can do this to tidy up your interface so I just assumed it would be despatched today.

I was truly amazed at 11:30am today when the postie handed over the parcel from them!

This is a testament to both Find Me a Gift and Royal Mail, demonstrating that when everything works together, I can place an order at 4pm on day 1 and receive it by lunchtime on day 2.

That's what internet shopping should be like and personally, I can't wait until we live in a world where merchants despatch same day before 6pm, and the delivery firms deliver the next day.

Will it ever happen is the question I should be asking here!

PS) If any merchants want to time the speed of delivery, I will accept freebies! Christmas is coming! The merchant that sends through Pleo will get a Christmas card from me and free exposure for a year on this site! :-)

You do love your freebies dont you David? I really shouldn't comment on these threads of yours mind you, last time I ended up being sent that http://www.affiliatestuff.c..., lol!

@Kirsty - Lol! I like freebies and I would rather get freebies than participate in those "x entries = x tickets" type competitions run by merchants.

If I'm sent a freebie, I feel as though I owe the sender something in return. I'll then generate sales to compensate them as best I can. If I won a prize in a competition, there's no incentive to keep driving sales as you'll have been selling to get the entries.

That's my own humble opinion though!

Yes that's good but many others achieve this. The problem is that those bricks n clicks companies don't and so give pureplay sites a bad name when they tar everyone with the same brush!
