Half way through January isn't the best time to be making resolutions but nevertheless, it doesn't hurt to have some aims this year!
So here goes.
Revenue
I aim to make at least double what I made last year. Simple?
SEO not PPC
I've read more stories recently of people pulling out of the PPC side of things and opting for SEO activities. I will probably keep on going with my SEO efforts and perhaps move to PPC later in the year if I feel the need to. I've never been thrilled by the concept of paying for people to visit my sites. Whilst there's an opportunity to make a lot of money, it's still too big a risk in my opinion. Never say never though.
Sites
I've got a few in the pipeline, and an awful lot of domains sitting in a cyber scrap yard, waiting to be salvaged and put to good use. I'm also looking at boosting some of my sites in terms of content and traffic. Last year was the year of creating ultra niche websites like the USB fingerprint reader one. This year I reckon it will be networking those sites, creating portals that stretch over multiple domains but share identical branding.
Blogging
Less blogging and more content production is the aim this year. 442 articles here is great but this website is a dead income stream. The type of people who visit this site know and understand affiliate marketing and are wise to any links. I suppose I could always add some AdSense links.
Nevertheless, I will be posting less on here, aiming for weekly instead of daily. Having said that, the quality and usefulness of the content should increase!
