This made the local news but didn't seem to appear on the national news. However, it does appear on the BBC News website, along with a new feature of the Beeb.
The BBC have embedded a news clip into the story.

News clips aren't necessarily new. They have been around for a while but you've had to use Real player or Windows Media Player to access them. The BBC have moved towards the embedding of a Adobe Flash clip, using a player similar in look and feel to YouTube's player.
The move to embedding video suggests that there is a significant demand for video content. Considering the BBC have swayed this way, it seems that now is as good a time as any to get your camcorder out and shoot a video.
