And so another month draws to a close. Here's a list of those wacky keywords that bought so many to this corner of the Interweb.
Enjoy this month's instalment :-D
dragon porn car - a major keyword this month. Not good :-(
coca cola christmas trucks - in July?
price comparison website script - http://www.pricetapestry.com
dragons den blogs - Here are the dragon's websites: Deborah Meaden, Duncan Bannatyne, James Caan, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis. As for blogs, try the BBC for news and info.
ugly prize winners - gee, thanks :-)
maximum bid ppc - See PPC Bid Calculator
ppc misspelled keyword generator - See PPC Misspelled Keywords
list successful affiliate websites - I could but there's a lot of them ;-)
spam comment samples - buy viagra, cialis, pills and other bits and bobs to increase the size of your tic tac, love muscle, weapon or any other similar euphemism.
generate voucher codes - they are made buy the discount voucher code fairies. Honest.
insurance ppc campaign - hello Mr or Mrs money bags.
hmv wont let me have discount - that's because it's either invalid or the evil voucher codes fairy doesn't like you.
one website many niches - or one niche and many websites. Your choice.
raspberry ruffles recipe - it's very difficult to master but visit Pimp That Snack for a recipe.
dave n affiliate - Possibly looking for Dave Naylor?
social shopping concept - it's social networking combined with shopping. Essentially you share your shopping habits and desires with your friends.
fiske building - That's what my dream house will be called! Perhaps Fiske Towers would be better though!
accurate website worth - It's only as valuable as the buyer determines. You may value it at £1million but if people only offer £100, you'll not get your million for it. As a general rule of thumb, multiply your annual income by 2.5. So if your website generates £1,000 a year, it's worth around £2,500. That is only a guide as you'll need to add value for a relevant database of email addresses/RSS subscribers and either add or remove value based on the site's reputation and branding. DavdFiske.com is only valuable to me and the other David Fiske's in the world. Google would be valuable to just about everybody.
future for cashback sites - who knows. With some merchants pulling out of the cashback arena and certain cashback sites (okay, just Quidco) ceasing working with particular networks, we could be on the brink of a slippery downwards slope. However, whilst so-called 100% cashback may not be a long lasting affiliate business model, general cashback may be. Personally, I see the way forward as niche cashback sites. I could be wrong though ;-)
really ugly mug shots - It's getting worse!
how much revenue do price comparison websites make - not much to be honest. Avoid electronics if you are after a lot of money as the majority of electronics retailers offer less than 5% per sale. Words from someone who's been there and done that.
dragons den fridge delivery - Theo and Duncan will delivery between a specified 2 hour delivery slot for a small fee. Perhaps not then.
spammed by myself - maybe the Interweb isn't a good place for you to be.
what does an affiliate site look like - content with banners around it, a discount voucher code website, a cashback website a price comparison website, etc.
pagerank 10 voucher codes - heard about it but never used it.
my voucher codes survey scam - What makes it a scam? I haven't heard anything about this though a few people have searched for similar terms.
loquax profitability - Probably does quite well for itself as it was one of the first. Be one of the first into a market and dominate quite well. Copycats rarely succeed.
voucher code sites and forced clicks - Don't get me started! I'm not a fan of forced clicks and personally think affiliate networks should take a firmer stance against unethical forced clicks in order to view out of date invalid voucher codes. But given these voucher code websites account for a large proportion of revenue, they have a bit of power over networks and merchants just like some of the cashback sites.
