Need A Bit Of Motivation?

It's the beginning of a brand new year and so it's time for many to plan for the next year. It's also the time when people brag about how well they did last year. I did okay but nowhere near enough to afford a luxury holiday each year :-)

So, if like me, you need a virtual kick up the behind, here's a few inspirational posts to help you along the way.

Ray Theakston

Owner of Shop Codes, Ray has reported that between Halloween and Christmas, he earned the same as his full time salary from affiliate marketing. That's very good going, especially in a crowded market such as discount voucher codes.

Jason Dale

Jason of Loquax fame is celebrating 10 years in affiliate marketing proving that this is a viable long-term industry to establish a good career in.

Joe Connor

In a similar post, Joe is also celebrating a decade of affiliate marketing with his website CantBarsed.

Kieron Donoghue

Kieron is one of the industry's best known personalities and his latest blog post reveals his intentions for 2010. In it, he suggests he may sell UKOffer, which brought in £25,000 in 2009 alone!

The Classics

I thought I'd finish on a couple of classics that I really like from years gone by.

The first is Kieron's bank statement he published. You can see it again via John Chow.

I can't find the second post I was looking for but it was about the journey Holiday Watchdog (I think) went on, from small levels of affiliate revenue into something more pleasing and sustainable :-) If I can track down the link, I'll update this post.
