New Year's Resolutions

Wow, that's another year down. In January I celebrate my 2nd wedding anniversary which is crazy as I'm sure it hasn't been that long we've been married!

Anyhow, with another notch on the wall, it's time for the annual set of good intentions. Perhaps this year I'll take note!

Finish Projects

I've got various projects I have started or have got on the drawing board. Reading through the A4U forum one affiliate (Cruise Compare) asked whats the longest time spent on a affiliate site build?. Perhaps the question should be how many incomplete affiliate projects do you have on the cards?!

Cull Some Sites

I've very much lost my way over the past few years, spreading myself way to thinly and not dedicating enough time to each site. This blog is a case in point. I will be taking a look at my portfolio and stripping out some of the fat so that I can spend more time on fewer sites.

Develop More Professional Relationships

This year I've met Joshna from Red Letter Days and Steven and Tom at DFDS Seaways [all without stepping foot near London ;-) ] and it's been great to chat to them all and find out a little more about each merchant and manager. I've also got a couple of account managers I've emailed regularly over the past year so it would be great to continue that and meet/strengthen/continue relationships with key affiliate account managers for several of the brands I work with on my better performing sites.

Stop Buying More Domain Names

Must resist... - besides, the good names have all been taken :-P

General Themes

Personally, 2011 for me will be about reducing the noise. At this stage I want to make various changes to help maximise conversions, drive more targeted traffic and focus more on merchants who put the time and effort into building relationships with their affiliates.
